ABOUT
GUNBOAT-8 is a roguelike inspired by the likes of Brotato and SNKRX. The GUNBOAT-8 needs your customisation to help unlock its true potential.
In GUNBOAT-8 you battle waves on enemies to earn money. Money can be spent in the shop to equip new weapons and modifiers, or you can enhance your existing weapons with unique runes that change the feel of each weapon. Design around your playstyle. Want to captain the mightiest pirate ship on the seas, or would you prefer to outsource your weaponry to an army of sharks?
The GUNBOAT-8 automatically attacks enemies, meaning you can focus on manoeuvring through tight spaces and equipping the best weapons for the cause.

It is really fun and arcady, reminds me of snake game. The shop can be bit overwhelming tho, so would be good to have better ui or explanation tutrial thing for it. but it is very fun to try different weapons and synergy
Gonna rate from 1 to 10 on the parts in the game
Bin trying out all the boats with different combos on the weapons 10/10
Only bad is if you die you need to start over from the beginning, would be more fun if you restart on the part of map you are on. 2/10
Are you gonna up out from 8-Bit graphics i assume not "GUNBOAT-(8-Bit)" ? 5/10
Would be hugely more popular with detailed graphics.
Maby a GUNBOAT-64 as a Sequel? :D

Thank you for the feedback! GUNBOAT-8 is word play on 8-bit games (it’s technically not 8-bit but hey) and the main ship having 8 weapon slots!
